Alex Morin is an18 year old who is looking to make a difference in our community. He started a fundraising initiative for Youth Mental Health at The Royal. To date, he has raised over $19,000 for the cause. Every donation helps the community step up for youth mental health.

Mental Health is an ever growing issue which needs to be addressed. Although we understand the importance of raising money to continue the great work that is being done towards various Mental Health initiatives, it is even more important to increase the awareness and reduce stigma associated to mental health illnesses.

In September 2014, Alex and his family organized their 2nd golf tournament and were looking for corporate sponsors and/or items that could be auctioned off in their silent auction so Alex approached me to see if I wanted to contribute.

It is always a pleasure for me to support a good cause whenever I can, so I donated 2 gift cards for studio family sessions.

A total of $7,200 was raised during the golf tournament.

The Legault family contacted me to redeemed their session and what a pleasure I had capturing their family heirloom.

Kyla had made the bid on one of my gift card, so I asked her why she had done so.

1) Why did you decide to make a bid on the gift card

The reason I decided to bid on the gift card was mainly because I live with a non photogenic family and don’t even have a single family picture hung up in our house. I also thought it would be a perfect gift for Mother’s Day. My mother loved it!

2) Your experience with the photo session.

Chantal is a fantastic photographer. She made our whole family very comfortable and at ease. She showed professionalism and her studio is filled with wonderful examples our her work. I would highly recommend Chantal Benoit, Photographer to everyone. She is truly talented and I thank her for the amazing experience and wonderful photo memories!

Thank you to the Legault family for allowing me to capture your family heirloom. I hope to capture more memories for you in the future.

I would love the opportunity to capture your family heirloom.  Call today at 613-841-1469 or e-mail me to schedule your family photo session.
